Land and Liberty Herbs is the clinical herbal practice of Aris Romero. Dedicated to the practice of herbal energetic medicine from and indigenous perspective and guided by a right relationship with the land, plants, and people, Land and Liberty Herbs supports clients in breaking old and new patterns and shifting to a place on wholeness and empowerment.

Every client’s lived experience is always respected and acknowledged. The practitioner and client relationship is a sacred bond based on trust, care, and confidentiality.

Plants are kin with history, wisdom, family, and spirit. Land and Liberty Herbs approaches medicine making as a time of prayer, focus, and deep intention. The creation of a client’s formula is like creating a poem for their healing and limitless potential, a poem that uses the language and wisdom of plants.

Aris Romero

Clinical Energetic Herbalist & Biodynamic Agriculture Practitioner

 

 

 

Aris is a Mexico City native, DREAMER, bilingual herbalist, medicine maker, and biodynamic agriculture practitioner.

Her earliest memories are comprised of foraging for wild foods in the homelands of her Purépecha ancestors in Michoacan, Mexico.

In 2015, Aris decided to leave her tenure in the wellness sphere to pursue a year-long biodynamic agriculture apprenticeship in Northern California. Through tending the soils of the Earth she tended the soils in her lineage and reconnected with the land-based ways of her ancestors. Working under sun, moon, and stars while care-giving to land, people, and animals gave Aris a deeper understanding of the interconnectedness between human health and the environment.

In 2018 Aris completed her studies in Clinical Energetic Herbalism from the Blue Otter School of Herbal Medicine. Her approach to herbalism and client work is rooted in an anti-opression framework and a source of great joy and understanding. Aris’ herbal education, agriculture training, and dedication to earth-based spiritual practices keep her evolving in her heart’s work.

A 15 minute complimentary consultation is offered to all new clients. This 15 minute session is an opportunity for us to explore the possibility of working together on your health needs. For first time clients, a 2 hour Initial Consultation is recommended in order for a clear energetic picture to emerge. Upon studying a client’s initial intake, a 4oz custom formula will be made and mailed. A Follow-Up Consultation is recommended every 8 – 10 weeks with a brand new remedy created after each session. All custom herbal formulas will carry a client through 8-10 weeks. All sessions are conducted over the phone and on Zoom *herbal formulas are sold separately
